Ferragosto is a wonderful tradition in Italy—on August 15th, everyone takes to the hills or the beaches to cool off and relax with friends and family over bountiful picnics (and lots of vino, natch). ~PICCINO~ is going to be doing their own spin on a Ferragosto celebration this coming Sunday: they will be serving roasted choice cuts of pork belly, shoulder, and/or loin, dishing up a summer caponata and seasonal salads, and firing up their signature thin-crust pizzas. The vino, certo, will be pouring. Let’s just hope for the warm weather to show up and do its part. 12pm-5pm.
