Starting this Friday November 9th, there will be some changes in effect at ~GITANE~ in the Financial District. Chef Bridget Batson will be working alongside her husband, Patrick Kelly (previously at Angèle in Napa), launching a new menu taking a lot of inspiration from Andalusia. Diners in the upstairs dining room will have the option of a five-course regional tasting menu ($65) or an à la carte menu, and all guests will receive complimentary Della Fattoria bread and Evian or Badoit water. Meanwhile, the bar and patio will feature a more casual “compartir” menu that’s built for sharing. There is also an updated wine list from the new wine director, Sarah Knoefler (previously at Dosa on Fillmore and Prospect), along with a new local, handcrafted beer program and cocktail list.
