A tasty Chinatown tidbit: Chowhound reports the flagship store of LITTLE PARIS (well known locally for its banh mi) has reopened in its new location after being displaced by the future Central Subway Chinatown Station (it was the first Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown and was in its original location for almost 30 years). 1131 Stockton St. at Jackson, 415-982-6111.

Also noted: the former YONG KEE RICE NOODLE COMPANY (which was famed for its chicken buns) has sadly closed after 60 years. It has been replaced by WONG LEE, also serving dim sum, plus baked items, like green onion twists, and more. 732 Jackson St. at Stockton, 415-986-3759.
