Inside Scoop reports that TU LAN has reopened after being closed for more than a year due to health code violations. They have totally remodeled the interior (gasp!), added all new equipment to the kitchen, and trained the staff in proper food handling practices. Yup, the grimy little hole in the wall has been totally sanitized. The menu, however, remains unchanged, though prices have gone up a quarter for all dishes. Awwww. 8 6th St. at Market, 415-626-0927.
