Berkeleyside Nosh reports that eclectic Mexican street food purveyor ~CHOLITA LINDA~ is now open in Temescal, as reported in tablehopper last year. They’ve been serving at farmers’ markets around the Bay Area and have made quite a name for their fish tacos. Now, you can get those and more all the time. The menu has expanded to include a selection of sandwiches, including the pan con lomito (steak with marinated tomatoes, onions, and watercress) and the butifarra (roasted pork loin with salsa criolla); take a look at a limited menu here. They’re only open softly for now, so hours haven’t been firmed up yet. 4923 Telegraph Ave. at 49th St., Oakland.
