At ~BAR TARTINE~, co-horts Vinny Eng and Kim Watson-Jew had their last night at the restaurant on Friday (sniff, sniff), and their replacements have been named: Mary Christie (previously State Bird Provisions) is the new beverage director and manager, and Molly Fritz (Quince, Benu, Sons & Daughters) is the new GM.
Across the bay at ~POGGIO~, the replacement for chef Peter McNee will be senior sous chef Benjamin Balesteri. He was previously chef de partie at Tra Vigne in St. Helena, spent a year working in two restaurants in Tuscany, and was opening sous at Lincoln Ristorante under acclaimed chef Jonathan Benno.
