A liquor license update mentioned the opening of PAUSE WINE BAR in the CAV Wine Bar & Kitchen space on Market Street. Scoop mentions it’s the folks behind Dogpatch’s Yield Wine Bar, who were able to land a temporary liquor license. Grub Street chimes in that the menu will be vegetarian-focused (and expanded a bit from Yield’s, since the kitchen at Pause is bigger). According to a tweet, they are trying to open this week, inspections pending. Open Wed-Sun 5pm-12am. 1666 Market St. at Gough.
