A friend pointed this new Italian wine shop out to me over the holidays, and it looks like their website is up: ENOTECA VINO NOSTRO. The owner, Amanzio Tamanti, has been importing and distributing wine from Italy for over 22 years, so it’s actually a retail shop for his Tosco Wines Inc. import business, with wines from the Piemonte to Puglia (supplemented with some other selections, over 200 in all). I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, but my friend said he picked up a nice bottle (and some olive oil) there. Open Mon-Sat 11am-8pm. 1455 Van Ness Ave. at Pine, 415-440-4001.
