Starting Friday November 2nd, you can visit urban winery ~ROCK WALL WINE COMPANY~ in Alameda, and now you can chow down on some food by gourmet food truck/”bustaurant” le truc, which is taking over the on-site chef’s kitchen. We’re not just talking a cheese plate—there’s a full menu available to guests in the tasting room and on the deck, which has great views, five days a week. Sample items include a turkey meatball sandwich (robust enough to pair nicely with Rock Wall’s 2010 Monte Rosso zinfandel), along with pulled pork butt tacos with Thai curry. Dishes will range from $4-$15, with Rock Wall wines by the glass ranging from $8-$12. Restaurant hours are Wed-Thu 12pm-5:30pm, Fri 12pm-6:30pm, and Sat-Sun 12pm-5:30pm. 2301 Monarch St., Alameda, 510-522-5700.

Quick note for you: ~HONOR BAR~ in Emeryville is now ~HONOR KITCHEN & COCKTAILS~ (seems there is a business in SoCal already called The Honor Bar). That is all. 1411 Powell St. at Hollis, Emeryville, 510-653-8667.
