~TRES AGAVES~ is hosting their third Thursday Distillery Dinner this Thursday October 16th. This month will feature Tequila Herradura, with the brand manager, Rene Valdez, leading the intimate tasting and presiding over the event. The evening includes mariachi entertainment, Tequila education, and eats and drinks! The cost of the event is $75, which includes tax, tip, lots o' Tequila, food, and a commemorative gift. On Tuesday October 21st, 15 Romolo and Chartreuse are hosting a ~GONG KARAOKE EVENT~. Bring your best air-guitar face and sultry moves and rock out with Chartreuse and friends. Judges include Camper English, Rebecca Chapa, and Hondo Lewis, Group Publisher of Where Magazine. There will be food and lots of Chartreuse cocktails to be had! Don't want to sing? Bring a pal and get behind the stick at the Green and Yellow Chartreuse Play Bar and create a concoction to impress the judges. 7pm–10pm. Thursday October 23rd is ~THE SUNSET WINE SALON~ at Cellar360. Meet Sunset wine editor Sara Schneider and Etude winemaker Jon Priest for an after-work flight of premium wines paired with plentiful hors d'oeuvres, including whitefish ceviche, saltimbocca prawns, lamb loin, and short ribs. 6pm–8:30pm, discussion and presentation to begin at 7pm. $50. Ghirardelli Square, Woolen Mill Building, 900 North Point.

Details remain a bit sketchy on this one, but ~PROJECT ONE~, the art gallery and lounge from Joseph Latimore and Brooke Waterhouse in the Design District, had its opening party over the weekend. The inaugural exhibition features artists Rene Garcia, Joshua Wildman, Azikiwe Mohammed, and Zdzislaw V. The exhibition schedule will rotate every two or three weeks. The gallery is 1,200-square-feet with 20-foot ceilings, and the lounge is 2,000-square-feet. The bar features wine, sakes, beer, and soju cocktails. Project One will reportedly present an eclectic lineup of DJs nightly. Hours are Tue–Wed 4pm–12am, Thu–Fri 4pm–2am, Sat 8pm–2am. 251 Rhode Island St. at 15th St. (no phone yet).

More on the art tip: this Thursday October 16th is the first monthly ~ART WALK~, put on by The Merchants Association for Lower Divisadero. Merchants along Divisadero (from Golden Gate Street all the way to Page Street) will have opening art shows, featuring all sorts of works from local artists, live music, and cheap drinks, so come out for the evening and walk the strip. Participants include Bar 821, Big Umbrella Studios, Blue Jay Café, Candybar, Fly Bar, Frankee Uno Salon and Gallery, Little Chihuahua, Mini Bar, Mojo Bicycle Café, Nopa, and On the Corner.
