On Thursday November 5th, Community Grows is throwing their second annual fundraising event at the Stern Grove Clubhouse from 7pm to 10m. There will be food from La Méditerranée and Bi-Rite, plus a silent auction and raffle with some extra-fab prizes. Think dinner for two at State Bird Provisions with a priority reservation, hotel stays at places like the Ojai Rancho Inn, and a tour and tasting for four at St. George Spirits.
Tickets to the event are $100 per person, and raffle tickets are $25 each. And you can buy a raffle ticket even if you can’t make it to the event. 2750 19th Ave. at Sloat.
Then, on Saturday November 7th, join Bay Leaf Kitchen for their second annual Harvest Dinner at Red Dog. The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm and will be followed by four courses of seasonal dishes from chef Lauren Kiino. Lots of other local chefs will be in attendance, too, including celebrity host chef Joyce Goldstein, as well as Scott Youkilis of Hog and Rocks, who will serve as the party’s emcee. In addition to dinner, there will be beverages from local companies, including Almanac Beer Co. and Antinori Family Winery, so the night promises to be a fun one.
Tickets are $150 per person, or $200 for VIP, which includes access to a VIP cocktail reception at 5:30pm and special seating at a premier table. The party runs from 6:30pm-11:30pm. 303 2nd St. at Harrison, 415-692-0211.
