Here’s a new way to support local communities and enjoy some fantastic food. In the East Bay, Charlie Hallowell (Pizzaiolo, Boot & Shoe, Penrose) has partnered with other restaurants for a Sunday Supper series, once a month. On the third Sunday of every month, a different restaurant will host a dinner, and each month will benefit a different charity. Each dinner will be served family style, with two seatings: one with a cocktail beginning at 5pm and another at 8pm. Tickets are $100 per person and include dinner and wine; each evening will also feature a signature cocktail at the bar for purchase, and all proceeds will also benefit the highlighted charity.
The first Sunday Supper is this Sunday May 18th at PENROSE, benefiting Oakland Leaf. Next month, the supper will be on June 15th at PIZZAIOLO, benefitting Causa Justa. For a full list of locations, dates, and charity organizations, head here.
