Back for its 10th year, the WINE & WISHES fundraiser event is Saturday February 5th, featuring some of the Bay Area’s best chefs and winemakers in a Gourmet Food & Wine Tasting and a Winemaker Dinner, all to benefit the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation. New this year, the event has changed location to City View on the fourth floor of the Metreon.

The Gourmet Food & Wine Tasting will start at 5pm with over 60 fine restaurants and wineries showcasing signature hors d’oeuvres and sample pours. Then at 7:30pm, the seated Winemaker Dinner will be a more intimate affair with four wine-paired courses, each prepared by two renowned local chefs. This year’s executive chefs include Mark Dommen, One Market Restaurant; Lissa Doumani and Hiro Sone, Terra/Ame; Jean-Pierre Dubray, The Resort at Pelican Hill; Joseph Humphrey, Murray Circle; Hubert Keller, Fleur de Lys; Emily Luchetti and Terri Wu, Farallon; Nancy Oakes, Boulevard; Sean O’Toole, Quince; Roland Passot, La Folie; and Xavier Salomon, Navio.

And as always, the silent and live auctions are an opportunity to get your hands on select wine, culinary, and travel lots. Here’s a preview.

This event is 21 and over only. Purchase tickets here for the Gourmet Tasting ($150) and the Winemaker Dinner ($350 and up, including the Gourmet Tasting). The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
