Something delicious is about to happen. The players are 21 restaurants, more than 40 ambassadors, and 1 mission. On Wednesday November 14th, Mission Graduates is calling on its friends and supporters to come out and dine for a cause that has helped thousands of Mission youth and their families for 40 years. Since 1972, Mission Graduates has clarified its commitment to getting more youth from the Mission District into college as a means to achieve economic equity and strengthen our community.

For the past four years, our signature event Food for Thought has been engaging its local community and beyond in a language that many people speak fluently: good food. Restaurants (like Commonwealth, Foreign Cinema, and Little Star Pizza) have agreed to donate at least 25 percent of the evening’s proceeds to Mission Graduates while we pack the house (and raffle off donated items). On Wednesday November 14th, our supporters will be getting more than a taste of our mission, they will be helping to secure the futures of Mission youth.
