Don't Miss This SUNday's Italian Fundraiser for Earthquake Relief, #SFAMATRICE at 54 Mint!

Buon giorno! Tomorrow, Sunday September 25th, is going to be such a SUNday funday! It’s looking gorgeous: a balmy 82 degrees, can you believe it? So I’m really hoping to see you on the patio at 54 Mint for SF AMATRICE! Your Negroni Sbagliato awaits! Tickets are moving fast for our fundraiser for Central Italy earthquake relief (the 6pm-8pm time slot is sold out!), and our goal of selling out of all tickets is looking mighty likely. (You are all amazing.)

Still on the fence? Well, let’s get you on the patio. There are still tickets available from 12pm-6pm, and with a $75 ticket, you get so much wonderful Italian food from our generous partners, and two hours of Italian cocktails from Campari America and Rye on the Road (Aperol Spritzes, Americanos, Negronis, and more). Come on by for a Spritz before heading to the Folsom Street Fair! Chaps are welcome. ;)

Plus we’re pouring many beautiful wines (swell partners include Casale del Giglio, Cherio, Fiorella, Folio Fine Wine Partners, Soave from Full Circle Wine Solutions, Scuola di Vino, Siena Imports, and Uva Enoteca, and beer from Peroni! Lemoncocco will keep you refreshed. We’ll also have espresso from Caffè Umbria, and biscotti from Acquerello to go with it—psssst, there’s also some discussion of Cynar shakeratos.

Foodwise, we are BRINGING IT, thanks to our incredible partners! There will be a selection of antipasti, cheeses from Bi-Rite Market and Cheese Plus, housemade salumi from Rose Pistola, prosciutto from Casa de Case, and bread from Josey Baker Bread!

There will be dishes like arancini all’amatriciana from Delfina, squid ink noodles with bottarga from Octavia, tramezzini from A.G. Ferrari, pinsas from Montesacro, an array of crostini from Palio d’Asti, Piccino, and Zero Zero, and pasta all’amatriciana from chef Mattia Marcelli of 54 Mint, made with pasta donated from Rustichella d’Abruzzo and Manicaretti, and products donated by Lettieri & Co. and Casa de Case. Fantastico!

There are also dolci from 54 Mint Il Forno, cream puffs from Rulli, and even brown sugar-fennel ice cream from Humphry Slocombe!

Since we’re selling tickets in two-hour time blocks (12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm), you can take your pick. There will be different restaurants serving during each time slot, so don’t worry about food running out!

We know, $75 isn’t cheap, but we’re serving quite the spread, with 100 percent of proceeds being donated to the Comune of Amatrice to help them rebuild after the horrific Central Italy earthquake, which completely leveled their city.

Even if you can’t attend, please consider a donation! Or just spread the word! (Here’s the event on Facebook to share.) Can you print out this flyer and display it in your shop, restaurant, or place of work? There’s also a tweet to RT, or like and repost on Instagram, and forward this email your friends. And many thanks for all the wonderful press we have received!

Everyone is donating their time, products, and labor in order for us to be able to donate 100 percent of the ticket price to earthquake relief! Grazie! Tutti a tavola!

Guests must be 21 and over. Invitation is nontransferable.
