Scheduled to open this Saturday is CERVECERÍA DE MATEVEZA, flanking Dolores Park. As previously mentioned in tablehopper, this 20-seat restaurant and small brewery will serve its line of organic craft beers brewed with yerba mate (owner Jim Woods will be brewing at the restaurant on a small 20-gallon copper system), along with some other local beers on tap and in bottles, plus warm and locally made empanadas by El Porteño, and charcuterie and alfajores. Joining Woods will be beer-tender Matt Coelho (City Beer, Church Key, Black Horse). Growlers and select bottles of guest beer will be available for purchase to go.

The opening beer lineup includes: MateVeza Yerba Mate IPA, MateVeza Black Lager, MateVeza and Mill Valley Beerworks Morpho Herbal Ale, Marin Brewing Chocolate Airporter, Moonlight Bombay by Boat IPA, Mill Valley Beerworks Kolsch, and Magnolia Saison de Lily. Hours are Tue-Sun 12pm-10pm. 3801 18th St. at Church, 415-273-9295.
