Update on Cantina and Tsk/Tsk's Last Night (and Big Blowout)

Earlier in the year, we broke the news that Andy Chun and Jan Wiginton of Press Club and Schroeder’s purchased downtown craft cocktail bar CANTINA from owner Duggan McDonnell, and now we receive an update that they have brought on Kevin Diedrich (BDK, Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen, Burritt Room) as a partner and bar manager. Diedrich just launched TURNKEY AT CANTINA, a temporary menu over the next couple of months featuring his top cocktails from past gigs. Later in the year, the space will get some updates, and a new menu will launch as well. Open Mon-Sat 5pm-1:30am. 580 Sutter St. at  Mason.

Just when we reported on the new brunch at TSK/TSK (called Broderick’s), and then Hoodline notes the temporary bar concept is wrapping up this month. According to this post on Facebook, the bar’s last night is in fact on New Year’s Eve, and they are doing a huge “liquidation sale.” Prepare thy liver for mad, crazy deals on slushies, shots, and beers, and wildly discounted cocktails. Prices are slashed at this pop-up superstore! Heh. We’ll keep you posted on the new concept, Horsefeather, as it takes shape in coming months. 528 Divisadero St. at Fell, 415-522-0800.
