Sometimes as soon as tablehopper hits on Tuesdays, you fine folks are reminded of seeing stars out and about and hit me up with your sightings, like this one: “On Easter Sunday, ~Victoria Beckham~ and ~David Beckham~, their four kids, along with ~Gordon Ramsay~ and his wife and kids enjoyed brunch at Solbar at Solage in Calistoga. Quite a sight!”
Yup, that’s Becks avec baby in the back of the photo. (Photo used with permission by Art Avitia.)
On Saturday, a tablehopper reader was enjoying a late lunch at Bouchon in Yountville, and who was at the other table but ~David Beckham~, ~Victoria Beckham~, and their baby Harper Seven. My spotter notes, “No bread or alcohol on the table (why eat?!), but I didn’t get to see exactly what they ordered. They had a long lunch. DB was looking EXTRA cute!”
My question is this: as cute as his new H&M underwear ad? Now, that’s cute.
A self-described “avid tablehopper reader” (why thank you) sent in this awesome sighting: “My husband and I were at The Restaurant at Meadowood on Friday night celebrating our first anniversary. When we arrived we were seated next to a table with ~David Beckham~ and ~Victoria Beckham~ and their three sons. They were on their dessert course and each of the sons went back into the kitchen to help make up their own dessert plate, which they seemed very proud of. Posh and David had some coffee with their dessert and then headed out. David gave most of the staff that we saw serving them a handshake with some cash.” Classy!
Considering the lineup of stars ~BOTTEGA~ has managed to attract in one week, I’d say it’s our Wine Country version of Spago or Nobu. Marci V., a tablehopper reader, wrote in to let me know she saw ~David Beckham~ and his posh wife, ~Victoria Beckham~, along with their children. I heard the kids got to make pasta with the chefs, and everyone was very nice. I also learned ~Marisa Tomei~ was at the restaurant’s one-year anniversary. And just this Sunday, tablehoppin’ reader Zachary P. spotted ~Lady Gaga~ in for lunch! She was with one other guest, and the kitchen prepared a four-course menu for them, including crudo, burrata with 20-year balsamic “caviar,” a gnocchi duo, and Piemontese beef with white truffle. She was reportedly very low key and chill.
