Coming in over the wires, Dean Biersch has announced that a third location of HOPMONK TAVERN will be opening in Novato in the former Southern Pacific Smokehouse, hopefully this fall. The bar will have 18 beers on tap, including HopMonk’s special house Kellerbier and Dunkelweizen, as well as rotating options from other breweries. There will be an outdoor beer garden, a music venue separate from the dining area, and a menu of pub food. This location will be adding wood-fired pizzas to the menu as well. It will be located in the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center, at Highway 37 and 101, in Novato.
