Out on Clement St., the Last Day Saloon morphed into the ~ROCKIT ROOM~ last year, but the renovations are actually complete this week. The former roadhouse has been brought up-to-date and modernized, and will be featuring more of a sleek/industrial/urban look. The downstairs is supposedly working the loungey tip, while upstairs (where the live acts take place) has booth seating and a clubby music venue vibe. The music format has also changed: goodbye jam band, and hello eclectic format, that includes a DJ night and an open mike night on Tuesdays.
