Berkeleyside Nosh reports that eclectic Mexican street food purveyor CHOLITA LINDA is now open in Temescal, as reported in tablehopper last year. They’ve been serving at farmers’ markets around the Bay Area and have made quite a name for their fish tacos. Now, you can get those and more all the time. The menu has expanded to include a selection of sandwiches, including the pan con lomito (steak with marinated tomatoes, onions, and watercress) and the butifarra (roasted pork loin with salsa criolla); take a look at a limited menu here. They’re only open softly for now, so hours haven’t been firmed up yet. 4923 Telegraph Ave. at 49th St., Oakland.
