Happy Lunar New Year! Happy Black History Month! Happy first day of February! (Whew, we made it—that was a rough January.) We also have Valentine’s Day coming up in a couple weeks… If you’re looking for some tasty meals and dishes (and chocolates!) to celebrate the Lunar New Year, check out my Instagram Highlight, and I’m adding to my Valentine’s Day Highlight daily (it will also include some Palentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day ideas, because the day of love is for everyone!).

It’s also crab season, and I’m stoked to head up to the William Tell House in Tomales for their annual crab feed, which they’re doing as another crab tailgate party this year. It’s so much fun—you’ll enjoy freshly caught Dungeness in drawn butter, with the tastiest cheesy sourdough (OMG), garlic noodles, and more. Enjoy the sun, fresh air, and crab shell in your hair! There are two weekends (this Saturday Feb 5th or Feb 12th) and two seatings (11:30am and 2:30pm). Tickets will sell out, so get crabby or be crabby!

Okay, so I have a big favor to ask. Over the past six weeks, I’ve been hard at work on brainstorming and researching and fine-tuning some upcoming changes to the tablehopper newsletter, which is turning sweet sixteen this month! I’m super-excited about what’s coming, but a huge part of what makes tablehopper what it is is YOU. You’re an incredible community of supporters and longtime readers, and I would so appreciate and value your input in this process. It has also been a long time since I ran a survey—it’s time for me to have more info about you! We’ve aged. LOL.

Here’s the tablehopper survey that I’d love love for you to please fill out! Go ahead and click it now so you have the window open. Please use the same email you already use to subscribe to tablehopper, and I need to have everyone’s answers by February 14th! Some of the questions are a little personal, but please know your details will remain confidential—I’m really just going to be looking at the aggregate data.
