StarChefs, the national restaurant industry magazine, is returning to San Francisco to celebrate the 2019 Rising Star Award Winners, with a number of new categories, such as Game Changer (Sayat Ozyilmaz, Laura Ozyilmaz, Noosh) and Charcuterie (John Harley Richter, Verjus), plus they continue to focus on Sustainability (Kim Alter, Nightbird). From January through April, the editorial team met with chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, sommeliers, and artisans across San Francisco and Oakland.
The winners will be present at an awards ceremony and walk-around tasting gala at Terra Gallery on Tuesday June 11th, from Nico to Robin to Tartine Manufactory.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit La Cocina, a nonprofit working to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color.

Tickets: General admission tickets are $100 and grant access to the Tasting Gala. VIP tickets are $175 and grant access to the VIP Reception with Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, along with the Awards Ceremony and Tasting Gala.
