San Francisco magazine presents FALLFEST 2010—a celebration of the Bay Area’s best in food, wine, and cocktails with leading restaurateurs, winemakers, mixologists, eco experts, and epicurean artisans—this Saturday October 9th from noon to 4pm at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco.
FallFest will transform Justin Herman Plaza into a European-style outdoor marketplace for the day, perfect for 1,500 attendees to enjoy eats, drinks, and live music, not to mention the season’s gorgeous weather and beautiful views of the waterfront. FallFest will feature chef demonstrations (including Thomas McNaughton, Flour + Water; Melissa Chou, pastry chef, Aziza), cocktail competitions (like the eco-cocktail competition), a Charcoal Companion® grill-off, and panel discussions that focus on “eat local” to highlight the greater Bay Area’s bounty and bring greater awareness to the benefits of eating and drinking local.
