It’s not every day you have a Pulitzer prize winner and nun spotting all rolled into one: Sister Helen Prejean (whose book was turned into Dead Man Walking) dined at Lark Creek Walnut Creek after speaking at the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church. She ordered the baby field greens salad and the Yankee pot roast.
Past American Idol champ and stage star Taylor Hicks was at the Redwood Room at the Clift early this week. He enjoyed a Jaeger with Red Bull (quite a change-up from Gerard Depardieu’s green tea last week). Hicks was with 15 other cast members from Grease who were in the bar celebrating a cast member’s birthday. They stayed for about an hour, until the lights came on.
POW! Zap! BAM! Wonder Woman Lynda Carter had dinner at Waterbar last week, dining with Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul. Gary Shansby of Partida Tequila sent them a couple of Partidas (and you thought I was going to say Jaeger and Red Bulls).
